
199 young talents participated in the 28th edition of the "Petya Dubarova" National Literary Competition, with the award ceremony to be held on May 9 at the "Morsko Kazino" Cultural Center.
On May 9, 2025, the 28th edition of the "Petya Dubarova" National Literary Competition will take place at the "Morsko Kazino" Cultural Center. This year the competition has a record number of participants - 199 young talents. Awards will be presented in the presence of literature enthusiasts. On May 8, a warm-up event will feature the presentation of the book "Moments from My Childhood Fingers" by Yana Panova, last year's award winner. An important award in the competition is the debut book, introduced as a prize last year. The jury, chaired by poet Boyko Lambovsky, awarded six out of all candidates in various genres. In addition, one of the winners also receives the Grand Prize of the Municipality of Burgas. Partner institutions of the competition present special awards, and the history and significance of the competition continue to inspire and support young talents in Bulgaria.
