Repair activities on the "Trakia" highway are restricting traffic towards Sofia.

Upcoming repair activities on the "Trakia" motorway will restrict traffic in the direction of Sofia between km 145 and km 149 from June 16 to 18. Traffic will only pass in one lane while asphalt pavement repairs are carried out in the active and emergency lanes.

The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) apologizes to citizens for the inconvenience caused, but emphasizes that the repair work is necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of travelers. Drivers are called upon to observe the speed limit of 50 km/h and not to undertake risky overtaking that endangers other road users.

RIA appeals to drivers not to use the emergency lanes for faster movement in heavy traffic, as this hinders the passage of vehicles with a special mode of movement in the event of an incident.
