The police in Burgas uncover crimes and investigate traffic incidents.

During the last 24 hours in the Burgas region, various criminal acts have been registered, including thefts, driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, as well as two traffic accidents. The police have managed to uncover and investigate all cases, arresting the perpetrators and recovering the stolen property.

During the last 24 hours in the territory of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Burgas, two thefts, two other criminal offenses, and two traffic accidents were registered. Three police proceedings were initiated, with five crimes solved.

As a result of joint actions by officers from the Criminal Police Department at the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Burgas, the First Police Department - Burgas, and the Police Department - Nessebar, a 55-year-old Serbian citizen with a criminal record, wanted under a European arrest warrant, was identified and detained for stealing 1000 leva from a children's clothing store in Burgas. It was found that he had used a false identity document.

On June 2 around 00:15 in Sozopol, officers from the Sozopol Police Department stopped for inspection a Toyota Land Cruiser with Burgas registration, driven by a 58-year-old resident of Sozopol, who had driven under the influence of alcohol with a concentration of 1.49 per mille. The driver was detained for up to 24 hours.

On June 2 around 11:30 in Sunny Beach, officers from the Nessebar Police Department stopped for inspection a Mazda Premacy with Silistra registration, driven by a 28-year-old resident of Varna, who had driven under the influence of drugs - amphetamine and methamphetamine. The driver refused to provide blood and urine samples for chemical analysis and was detained for up to 24 hours.

On June 2 around 14:03 in the Pomorie Police Department, a report was received from a 33-year-old resident of Burgas, a distributor in a private company, about the theft of 777 leva in operating funds from the unlocked cabin of the company truck that was resupplying the T.market store in Pomorie. The officers found that the distributor had staged the theft to obtain financial gain for himself. The money was found in a key case in the vehicle, and the distributor was detained.

On June 2 around 16:15 in Burgas, officers from the Fifth Police Department - Burgas stopped for inspection a Toyota Yaris with Burgas registration, driven by a 51-year-old resident of Burgas, who had driven under the influence of alcohol with a concentration of 1.71 per mille. The driver refused to provide blood and urine samples for chemical analysis and was detained for up to 24 hours.

On June 2 around 9:24 on the Aytos - Karnobat - Sofia road, a Dacia Logan with Burgas registration, driven by a 67-year-old resident of Burgas, while changing lanes from left to right, hit the rear of a disabled Mercedes Sprinter truck with Burgas registration, driven by a 59-year-old resident of Burgas, who had not placed a reflective triangle behind the vehicle. The driver of the Dacia Logan suffered a head injury, without danger to life, and was examined at a hospital and released for home treatment.

On June 2 around 11:20 in the village of Chernitsa, a traffic incident occurred between a tractor with a vineyard trailer, driven by a 47-year-old man from the village of Chubra, and a rototiller with a trailer, driven by a 64-year-old man from the village of Lozarevo. The tractor driver, while overtaking, did not provide sufficient lateral distance and with his rear tire hit the rear of the rototiller. The driver of the rototiller and his 58-year-old passenger were injured, sustaining sprains and strains of the spinal joints, without danger to life.
