The Ministry of Economy and Industry and the National Company "Industrial Zones" (NCIZ) support a new investment initiative in the Industrial Park Sofia-Bojurishte. The construction of a new logistics base worth nearly 7 million levs, realized by the Bulgarian company "Imelious" OOD, is forthcoming.
The project envisages the construction of a warehouse building with an area of about 7,530 square meters, designed according to modern European standards and equipped with systems for energy efficiency, optimized logistics and sustainable resource management. At a meeting between Deputy Minister Nevena Lazarova, Imelious' manager Alexander Golomekhov and NCIZ's Executive Director Angel Tanev, it was discussed that the new logistics base will create 120 new jobs in the region.
According to Deputy Minister Lazarova, state industrial zones like the one in Bojurishte are becoming increasingly attractive to businesses, as they offer not only industrial areas, but also a range of services that facilitate the implementation of investment projects. NCIZ is negotiating with companies from the pharmaceutical, high-tech, food and IT sectors, who are showing interest in the park.
Angel Tanev, Executive Director of NCIZ, thanked Imelious for choosing to implement the project in the Industrial Park Sofia-Bojurishte, as it will improve the logistics connectivity in the region and contribute to better utilization of the industrial potential of Sofia-region.
According to Lazarova, the recently announced construction of a Regional Center for Digital Solutions and Innovation in the park will be an important step in attracting new investors, as it will support businesses and the public sector in the process of digital transformation.
Since the beginning of the year, NCIZ has signed two contracts for the sale of real estate in the Industrial Park Sofia-Bojurishte and has one preliminary contract with interest in the same location.
