The Ministry of Tourism launched the international festival "Francofolies de Bulgarie 2025", which will be held from June 20 to 22 at the Rowing Base in Plovdiv. The event is part of the international Francophonie chain, which is held in seven countries, including Bulgaria. The festival is among the established international formats that combine culture, education, and tourism, and is included in the "100 World Francophone Events for 2017" - an initiative of the French state.
The festival program offers a rich musical lineup with the participation of world and Bulgarian performers such as ZAZ, IN-GRID, Gipsy Kings, Master KG, Alexandra Stan, Lili Ivanova, and others. The additional attractive program includes gourmet zones, craft bazaar, and activities for children, creating a complete festival atmosphere in one of the most attractive tourist cities in the country. The "Youth Module-Francofolies" platform of the event gathers 100 students aged 16 to 19 from schools in Bulgaria that study French, to exchange ideas, knowledge, and energy in French-language debates on topics concerning universal and pan-European values.
