On July 17, 2025, the literary phenomenon, which started modestly in a Sofia gallery in 2010, will celebrate its remarkable fifteen-year existence. The initiative, founded by Geri Turiyska, has become an internationally recognized cultural project with over a million followers on social networks.
The anniversary event will be held on the picturesque Saint Anastasia Island near Burgas, offering an extremely diverse two-day program. The first day starts with a concert by the popular singer Nina Nikolina, who will present her new album "You/You – Global pop" in a special premiere evening.
The musical program includes the participation of Nina Nikolina together with musicians Petar Yordanov – Bunny and Magdalena Petrovich. The special literary edition will unite established authors such as Dimitar Kalburov, Plamen Manasiev, Maria Silvester, Yasen Kozev, and Geri Turiyska herself.
The second day of the festival will be no less exciting with an acoustic concert by the group Ostava and a series of literary readings. Among the participants will be Mihail Stoyanov, Svilen Noev, Lyuben Dilov-son, and other established Bulgarian artists.
The organizers have also thought about the culinary experience, offering a special Culinary Bar with guest chefs who will serve Black Sea dishes with fresh fish and wines. An additional attraction will be the journey to the island itself, with the ticket including round-trip sea transport.
Over the past 15 years, the platform has realized an impressive 42 literary readings in various parts of Europe and Asia. Among the most popular authors who debuted through "Mailbox for Tales" are Nikola Krumov, Georgi Blazhev, Samuil Petkanov, and Ralitsa Naydenova.
