The leaders of two leading national institutions - Zornitsa Rusinova from the ESC and Tsvetan Simeonov from the BCCI, held a strategic meeting to coordinate joint activities related to informing businesses and citizens about the upcoming euro introduction.
Simeonov emphasized the exceptional importance of disseminating precise and reliable information about the euro integration processes. According to him, the current moment requires a large-scale explanatory campaign that reaches the maximum number of companies and citizens in different Bulgarian regions.
As part of the joint initiative, the ESC plans a series of regional meetings that will be held in important economic centers such as Blagoevgrad, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Burgas, Vidin, and Vratsa. The events are scheduled for the second half of September and will include leading national and international experts.
The main goal of the forums is to provide specific answers to questions related to Eurozone membership, as well as to dispel potential concerns among business circles, consumers, and civic organizations.
The BCCI has taken an official commitment to support the information campaign through its regional structures. The Chamber will provide expert support and ensure timely distribution of up-to-date information among Bulgarian enterprises.
Rusinova added that 4-5 regional events are planned, each of which will include representatives from the BCCI. The institutions aim to communicate the upcoming economic changes as transparently and accessibly as possible.
The joint initiative demonstrates the readiness of key national institutions to work in a coordinated manner in support of Bulgarian business and the country's successful euro integration.
