The Burgas Municipal Council is organizing a public lecture on the advantages of Bulgaria's membership in the Eurozone. The lecturer will be Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Mihaylov, a lecturer in economics, who will present an analysis of the expected economic and social benefits, challenges, and the country's readiness level.

On June 12 at 5:30 pm in the Cultural House of the National Art Gallery in Burgas, a public lecture on the topic "Bulgaria on the Threshold of the Eurozone - the Advantages of our Membership in the Monetary Union" will be held. The initiative is by the Chairman of the Municipal Council-Burgas Mihail Hadzhiyanov.

The lecture will be led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Mihailov - a lecturer in the Department of Economics and Management at the Burgas Free University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov". Assoc. Prof. Mihailov is a Doctor of Economics, specialized in the field of finance, monetary circulation, credit and insurance.

During the event, key topics related to the economic and social benefits of Eurozone membership, the challenges facing the country in the adaptation process, the expected impact on business, the financial system and citizens, as well as the degree of institutional and macroeconomic readiness of Bulgaria will be discussed. The lecture will be followed by an open discussion with the participation of all attendees.
