A car accident in the Karnobat region ended with minor injuries.

On May 22, 2023, around 2:50 pm, on the territory of Karnobat Municipality, on the Karnobat - Shumen road, at kilometer 88+300 meters, a traffic accident occurred. A Toyota Yaris 1.0 I passenger car with a Burgas registration, driven by a 72-year-old man from the village of Lozarevo, Sungurlare Municipality, due to loss of control, hit a roadside tree.

As a result of the incident, the injured driver was admitted for treatment to the orthopedic department of the "Deva Maria" hospital in Burgas. He has a diagnosis of a fractured lumbar vertebra, but his condition is not life-threatening.

The accident occurred on the territory of Karnobat Municipality, at the 88th kilometer and 300 meters from the beginning of the Karnobat - Shumen road.
