Daniela Zekina, who has been working in Montreal, Canada for over 30 years, is the author of the 27 color illustrations in the book "Vangelia", which is suitable for both adults and children. The artist graduated in design and book illustration from the National Academy of Art in Sofia. She has illustrated over 60 children's books, poetry collections, and novels. Her work, characterized by ethereal composition and a focus on mythological mysteries, has been showcased in solo and group exhibitions across Europe, North America, and South America. Her illustrations have been selected for the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Italy. Furthermore, her paintings are permanently exhibited at the Galerie Jeannine Blais (North Hatley, Quebec) and the Moyshen Gallery in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. In 2009, she won the Grand Prize at the International Miniature Art Exhibition in Lévis, Quebec.

The life story of the prophetess Vanga, presented by Zheni Kostadinova as a pictorial parable, is the subject of an upcoming premiere in Burgas. Readers will be able to meet the author on September 24 at 6:30 PM at the Sea Casino Cultural Center. The book takes the audience through Vangelia's childhood, the loss of her sight, and her difficult personal trials, leading up to the time when she became a world-renowned figure. It was to her that presidents, ministers, diplomats, military officials, artists, and musicians turned for comfort and advice.

Zheni Kostadinova, who holds a master's degree in philosophy, has been researching the history of the prophetess for over three decades. She is the author of a series of documentary books, six poetry collections, three children's fairy tale books, and one book of short stories, with a mission to distinguish Vanga's real image from media sensations. Her professional path also includes establishing the Art House with a "Dolls" museum in Sofia, as well as initiating the "See My Angel" National Competition for Applied and Literary Arts. She is the creative director of the international festival "The Magic of Dolls". For her work with children and the development of this art space, she received a Commemorative Sign from the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Margarita Popova, in 2016.

Vanga remains a mysterious and beloved figure in Bulgarian history, and her memory is also preserved through the "Saint Petka of Bulgaria" church. She built the shrine in Rupite herself with the help of pilgrims, and it is where she is buried. Today, the "Rupite" area has been developed by the "Vanga" Foundation into a park complex for solitude and faith.
