Thailand hosts an epic women's volleyball championship on an international scale

The prestigious sporting event will set a new historical accent in the development of volleyball in Southeast Asia. The championship will take place from August 22 to September 7, 2025, covering four key locations: Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai, and Phuket.

The FIVB organizers define this championship as a revolutionary moment for regional sports. For the first time in the tournament's history, Southeast Asia will host such a large-scale international competition, bringing together 32 national teams.

The current world champions from Serbia will defend their title in the new expanded format. The tournament is expected to be the most extensive edition so far, offering a two-year cycle and expanded participation of teams from different confederations.
