The fashion giant Chanel has introduced an innovative platform for the circular economy in the luxury industry, called Nevold. The project aims to develop high-quality recycled materials such as wool, cotton, and leather that meet the standards for luxury goods.

According to information from Marie Claire magazine, Chanel has launched a new B2B initiative called Nevold. The platform, led by Sophie Brocart, aims to create large-scale sustainability in the luxury fashion industry through partnerships with yarn manufacturers, recycling companies, and other sectors, including hospitality and sportswear.

Nevold, which means "never grows old," reflects the pursuit of timeless, recycled materials that preserve the quality and luxurious character of the products. Chanel emphasizes that the industry needs collaborative efforts to address the shortage of traditional raw materials such as cotton and silk. The Nevold platform represents a concrete step towards a sustainable future for luxury fashion.
