Road repair works on the water supply and sewerage network are closing an intersection in the capital.
Due to repair work on the water supply and sewerage network on Georgi Shaguenov Street in Sofia, the intersection of this street with Antim I Street will be closed to traffic from 11:00 am on June 3 to June 5, 2025. Citizens are urged to comply with the temporary traffic management in the area.
The Ministry of Transport has launched a public discussion on the award of passenger rail services.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications has published a draft for the determination of the conditions for the selection of carriers for the provision of passenger rail transport in the country. It is planned that the railway network will be divided into three regions, with each being served by a corresponding regional depot. The contracts will be for a term of 12 years, and the procedure for their conclusion will be announced by the end of July 2025.
Repair of joints on Struma Motorway in the direction of Sofia

On June 8, 2025, traffic will be restricted on a section of motorway I-5 between Gabrovo and Kazanlak for the holding of the "Rozobar" ritual as part of the annual Rose Festival. Traffic will be diverted to alternative routes, and drivers are urged to follow the instructions of the traffic police.
Repair activities on the Hemus Motorway in Sofia region require temporary traffic restrictions.
Repair work will be carried out on three sections of the "Hemus" motorway in Sofia region on June 3 and 4. Traffic will be redirected to one lane, and some lanes will be temporarily closed. Drivers are urged to obey speed limits and avoid risky maneuvers to ensure the safety of all travelers.

Road repair activities on Motorway I-5 between Stara Zagora and Kazanlak
The Road Infrastructure Agency is undertaking repair activities on the 5-kilometer section of Motorway I-5 between Stara Zagora and Zmeyovo, with the aim of improving traffic safety. Traffic will be two-way in the lane towards Kazanlak, and after the completion of the repairs, it will shift to the lane towards Stara Zagora.

The assembly of a solid reinforced concrete barrier has started in the next 320-meter section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse. Ultramarathon in Shiroka Luka restricts movement for half an hour
The ultramarathon event will take place on May 31 in the village of Shiroka Laka, which will temporarily restrict traffic on the Smolyan - Shiroka Laka - Devin road. The traffic police will regulate the traffic, and drivers are urged to drive carefully and not use the emergency lanes.
The Municipality of Nessebar is completing a large-scale reconstruction of a key street in the tourist region.
The renovation of "First" Street in Nessebar has been completed, with two reconstruction and one repair stage carried out. The next stage is the reconstruction of the section to Sunny Beach, including the construction of a local lane, landscaping, sidewalks, and new lighting. The goal is to improve the transport accessibility and competitiveness of the area.

The Road Infrastructure Agency recommends to drivers of motor vehicles traveling on the Sofia-Plovdiv-Burgas route to use alternative routes during the ongoing repair work on the Trakia Motorway. The I-8 Sofia-Pazardzhik-Plovdiv and I-6 Sofia-Burgas roads are offered as more suitable options for safe and comfortable travel.
