Success for the Neftochimic academy: Petar Kyumyurdzhiev receives a call-up to the national team

Another success for the Neftochimic youth academy. The club's young prospect, Petar Kyumyurdzhiev, has received a call-up for the U17 national team training camp.

Born in 2010, the footballer is the son of the former player and current head coach of Sozopol, Petar Kyumyurdzhiev Sr.

The technical midfielder had a very strong season with the "Sheyhovete" youth teams. Despite his young age, he was an integral part of the Neftochimic (U18) squad, which competes in the Elite Youth Group under the guidance of Nikolay Krastev.

Upcoming challenges

Kyumyurdzhiev's performance did not go unnoticed by the head coach of the youth national team, Svetoslav Petrov. The talent has been included in the squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Albania on June 5th and 8th.
