Bulgaria at the Top of Europe
Bulgaria triumphed with the women's team title at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, held at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna. Our gymnasts showed class and deservedly climbed to the highest step of the podium.
Our national team gathered a total score of 277.600 points, ahead of the teams from Israel and Russia.
Performance of the Ensemble
The Bulgarian ensemble, consisting of Sofia Ivanova, Margarita Vasileva, Magdalena Minevska, Emiliya Obretenova, Raya Bozhilova, and Magdalena Valkova, finished in sixth place in the all-around. Despite the difficulties in the hoop and clubs routine, Vesela Dimitrova's girls continue to fight for medals.
