The National Basketball League (NBL) officially announced the date and location of the draw ceremony for the 2025/2026 season, which will attract the attention of local basketball fans.
The ceremony is scheduled for August 8 (Friday) at 11:00 AM and will be held in the Triaditsa Hall, located in the capital Sofia. Fans will be able to follow the full draw process directly on the NBL YouTube channel, which ensures maximum transparency and accessibility.
The season will be extremely interesting due to the entry of two new teams in the elite group - Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Botev Vraca 2012. Their debut promises to bring freshness and additional tension to the upcoming championship.
In addition to the new additions, the competition will also include the established teams from the previous season: Rilski Sportist, Cherno More Tича, Balkan, Spartak Pleven, Akademik Bultex 99, Beroe Stara Zagora, Miner 2015, Levski, and Shumen.
The total number of competing teams will be 11, which guarantees a dynamic and competitive championship. Interest in the draw is extremely high, as it will determine the initial groups and initial matches for the new basketball season.
