A woman, who is presumed to have been under the influence of drugs, suffered an accident with an electric scooter in Burgas, according to information provided by the police. The accident, which occurred on October 10th, around 14:27 on "Zahari Stoyanov" street near the local road to the company "Sevan", led to hospitalization and subsequent release of the injured party.
According to the police report, a 37-year-old resident of Burgas lost control of her individual electric vehicle. As a result, she crashed into a road sign before stopping. The accident caused fractures to the woman's nose and skull. She was immediately taken to UMBAL - Burgas for examination. After medical intervention, the woman was released for home treatment.
Police officers conducted a check for alcohol and drug use. The initial alcohol test was negative. However, the second test, conducted for drugs, showed positive results for cannabis, amphetamine, and methamphetamine. A blood sample was taken for further chemical analysis.
The investigation of this case is ongoing. The authorities are working to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
