The extraordinary session of the National Assembly was closed due to a lack of quorum. The reason for this was the debate on the draft resolution submitted by “Vazrazhdane” (Revival).

From PP - DB they requested that Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velizar Shalamanov be admitted to the hall, but that a quorum check be carried out beforehand. In the first check, 92 Members of Parliament were registered, with 121 required. In the second, after 20 minutes, 91 were registered and there was again no quorum.

Due to the lack of quorum and the termination of the meeting, the deputies failed to vote on the draft resolution submitted by “Vazrazhdane” regarding the agreement with Ukraine, as well as to hear the Minister of Finance Georgi Klisurski and the Minister of Economy and Industry in the caretaker cabinet Irina Shtonova regarding the measures to limit the increase in fuel prices in the country.
