Two men have been detained for setting fire to the feet of a 57-year-old man in Ahtopol. The court in Tsarevo took a measure of restraint “detention”.
According to the prosecution, the crime was committed in a particularly torturous manner and with particular cruelty.
The victim is of low social status, and the injuries were inflicted in his home. The evidence gathered indicates that the burning of the lower extremities and the blows to the head and other places led to the disfigurement of parts of his body.
The ruling of the District Court-Tsarevo is subject to appeal to the Regional Court-Burgas.
