Detained in Burgas for stealing coins from vending machines

Two men have been detained in Burgas on suspicion of stealing coins from toy vending machines. The stolen amount from the two machines totals 350 leva. The detainees have confessed.

Two men have been detained in Burgas on suspicion of stealing coins from vending machines for toys, the police announced. According to information provided by the uniformed officers, the two detainees are individuals with a criminal record, aged 23 and 27. They are accused of committing two thefts from toy vending machines.

Law enforcement teams took action after a report of thefts. The first incident occurred on "Tsar Kaloyan" street, where 150 leva were stolen from a toy vending machine, mainly in coins. The second case was registered on "Gladstone" street. From there, the sum of 200 leva was stolen, again in coins. Thus, the total amount that was "taken" from the two vending machines amounts to 350 leva.

The detainees have a criminal record. They have been detained for a period of up to 24 hours. It is reported that the men have made full confessions to the committed acts.

Currently, officers of the First Regional Police Department - Burgas, continue work to establish the full scope of the criminal activity of the detainees. Investigations are underway for additional details of the case, including possible accomplices and other crimes committed.
