Good news for the Southern Black Sea coast. During an inspection of the "Yasna Polyana" reservoir, which provides drinking water for the municipalities of Primorsko, Sozopol, Tsarevo, and Sredets, it was found that the reservoir is 100% full of its capacity and even overflows within the permissible levels. This was announced by the mayor of Primorsko, Ivan Gaykov.

Such a volume of water has not been observed for more than a decade, he noted.

The mayor of Primorsko pointed out that this gives grounds for peace of mind. The issue of water scarcity in the region will not be relevant in the coming years. In addition, the construction of the new water treatment plant and the new water pipeline from the reservoir to the municipalities will significantly reduce losses in the network and will improve the quality of water supply.
