From July 21st, Wizz Air is launching a new direct route from Burgas to Radom, Poland. Flights will operate twice a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This will also stimulate inbound tourism to the Southern Black Sea coast during the summer season of 2026, as well as strengthen the airline's long-term investments in Bulgaria and its role in improving regional connectivity.
The Director of Route Network Development at the airline, Andras Szabo, stated last month that Wizz Air will base an eighth aircraft at Sofia Airport "Vasil Levski" from July 2026 and will significantly expand the network of destinations it serves from the Bulgarian capital.
