Weather in Bulgaria on October 27th: Rain and Changing Weather

Meteo Balkans forecasts rain in Bulgaria on October 27th. Expect precipitation in Southwestern and Central Bulgaria, with changes in wind. The heaviest rainfall will be in Southeastern Bulgaria, with temperatures between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius.

The Meteo Balkans team issued a weather warning for inclement weather affecting areas of the country on October 27, 2025. The issued map shows that significant rainfall is expected in isolated places over certain regions. Meteorologists predict that the amounts of rain could reach 25-40 liters per square meter.

Cloudy weather is forecast throughout the day over most of the country. Rain is expected in Southwestern and Central Bulgaria, and towards the end of the day - also over the eastern regions. The most significant rainfall is expected in the afternoon hours in Southeastern Bulgaria. Towards the end of the day in the northwestern part of the country, specifically over the northwestern regions, the rain will stop and the cloud cover will break up. The wind will change direction, orienting from west-northwest, and will be temporarily strong in the Danube Plain and the Upper Thracian Lowland. Maximum temperatures will be between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius.

Along the Black Sea coast, until noon, the weather will be with low-level cloud cover. During the day it will be mostly cloudy, with significant rainfall along the South Black Sea coast, accompanied by thunderstorms. The wind will orient from the northwest.

Maximum temperatures along the coast will be between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius, and the sea water temperature - between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius. The sea swell is expected to reach about 3 Beaufort.

In the mountainous regions, mostly cloudy and foggy weather is forecast during the day, especially in Western and Central Bulgaria. Towards the end of the day, the rains will also cover Ludogorie and Strandzha. Significant amounts of rainfall are expected in the Rila-Rhodope massif and Strandzha. A moderate northwesterly wind will blow.

The temperatures in the mountains will remain low for the season - around 10 degrees Celsius at an altitude of 1200 meters and around 2 degrees Celsius at 2000 meters.

Regarding the weather in the Balkans, more significant rainfall is expected in the Western and Central Balkans. Almost no rainfall is forecast on the territory of Greece.
