Early this morning, the sky over the country will be covered with clouds, but for a short time the wind will weaken, BNT reported. The cold morning hours will bring minimum temperatures, which will be slightly lower compared to yesterday's readings. Thermometers will show values between 5 and 10 degrees. In the capital Sofia, a temperature of around 7 degrees is expected. Along the Black Sea coast, temperatures will be a little milder, reaching from 11 to 14 degrees.
Before noon, in some regions of the country there will be sunny hours, especially in Southwestern Bulgaria. However, during the second half of the day, the clouds will return to most of the territory. Light precipitation is expected in the eastern and mountainous regions.
The maximum temperatures today will remain almost unchanged, ranging between 15 and 20 degrees. In Sofia, the maximum temperatures will reach around 15 degrees, and the weather will be accompanied by a light to moderate north-westerly wind.
Also on the Black Sea coast, the winds today will be light to moderate, blowing from the north-northwest. The sky will be cloudy, with rain in places. The maximum temperatures along the coast will vary between 16 and 18 degrees.
In the mountains, the wind will be moderate, blowing from the west-northwest. The weather there will be cloudy, with light rain. Snow is expected only in the highest parts of the mountains, where the maximum temperatures will remain close to zero.
