The night will be mostly clear, and tomorrow – sunny, but in places in the Danube Plain there will be temporary low cloud cover, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced.
In the evening, cloud cover will begin to increase and thicken from the southwest. The wind will be light, mainly from the east. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 11° and minus 6°, and maximum temperatures will be from minus 1° to 4°. For Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around minus 9°, and the maximum – around 1°.
Atmospheric pressure is significantly higher than the monthly average, it will slightly decrease.
Over the North Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny, while over the South there will be significant low cloud cover. A moderate northerly wind will blow, which will weaken in the afternoon and will turn from east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be 3°-5°. The sea water temperature is 6°-9°. Sea swell will be 2-3 points. In the mountains it will be mostly sunny. A light to moderate wind will blow from east-southeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around minus 2°, at 2000 meters – around minus 6°. On Wednesday, cloudy weather will prevail, and even before noon, from the southwest, snowfall will begin, which will cover Southern Bulgaria and the Balkan Mountains by the evening. The rainfall will be significant in the Rila-Rhodope region. A moderate wind will blow from east-southeast, and temperatures in Eastern Bulgaria will rise, whereby the snow in the eastern part of the Upper Thracian lowland will turn into rain, and there are conditions for icing there.
Minimum temperatures will be between minus 8° and minus 3°, and maximum temperatures – from minus 1° to 4°. During the night against Thursday and on Thursday in many places in the southeastern half of the country there will be precipitation of both snow and rain. Conditions for icing remain in places in Eastern Bulgaria. The rise in temperatures will continue.
