Weather in Burgas and the region

Sofia and the region

Maximum temperatures in Sofia will be around 32–34°C, and minimums – around 18–20°C. The weekly analysis for the period 28.06–03.07 indicates that on Sunday and Monday, maximum values in the country will be between 32° and 37°, with Sofia being around the lower end of the range.
The probability of precipitation in the capital region is low, with the main risk being short afternoon showers over the surrounding mountain ranges. The wind will be light, from the east-northeast, without significant intensification.
Eastern and Western Bulgaria
In Western Bulgaria on June 28, sunny and hot weather will prevail. The weekly forecast shows that it will be sunny on Sunday, and on Tuesday the air mass over the western regions will become unstable and precipitation will intensify – meaning that on June 28, conditions are still stable, with insignificant cumulus clouds.

In the mountains

In the northern part (the region of Varna, Balchik, Kavarna) maximum temperatures will be around 26–28°C, and in the southern part (Burgas, Nesebar, Sozopol, Primorsko, Tsarevo) – around 27–29°C. Minimum temperatures along the coast will range around 18–20°C.
The wind along the sea will be moderate, temporarily stronger in some sections, with a direction from the northeast. According to the forecast for the coast on June 28, a moderate to strong wind from the north-northeast is expected, but without extreme values, and the sea state will be around 2 degrees.
