Today before noon, the sky will be heavy with clouds, and rain is expected to fall from the northwest to the southeast, BNT announced.
More abundant rainfall is expected in Southwestern Bulgaria, while the northeastern regions will remain almost dry. After noon, the clouds will begin to break up, especially over the northwestern regions. The wind will be moderate, and in the Danube Plain and the Upper Thracian Lowland – strong, from the north-northwest. Thermometers will show maximum values between 11° and 16°, with the capital expected to reach about 11°.
In the morning hours, visibility along the southern coast will be reduced. During the day, the cloud cover will remain significant, and light rain will fall in places. Later, the clouds will break up, and the wind will remain moderate to temporarily strong from the northwest. The maximum temperatures for the coast will be between 16° and 18°. The sea water temperature will be between 17° and 19°. The sea swell is expected to be around 2 degrees.
Above the mountains, the cloud cover will also be significant. Rain will fall in places, and snow above 1700 meters. After noon, the rainfall will stop, and the cloud cover will break up from the northwest to the southeast. The wind above the mountains will be strong from the northwest. The maximum temperature at 1200 meters will be around 7°, and at 2000 meters – around 1°.
During the night against Wednesday, the cloud cover will decrease. In the coming days, mostly sunny weather is expected, and the maximum temperatures will rise. The wind will weaken, and in many areas it will die down. In the morning, in places in the plain part of the country, fog or low layered cloud cover will form. The minimum temperatures will be the lowest on Wednesday – between 2° and 7°, with separate basins reaching around zero, which creates conditions for frost. After that, the morning temperatures will also rise.
On Saturday, the cloud cover will temporarily increase, and in separate places, mainly in the mountains, light rain may fall. The minimum temperatures will be between 7° and 12°, and the maximum – between 17° and 22°.
