The Municipality of Burgas announced that this coming Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, 2025, a key road artery in the city will be temporarily closed. Authorities warned citizens of expected traffic difficulties related to large-scale loading and unloading activities that will be carried out in the area.
Traffic Restriction
According to the official announcement from the local administration, traffic on "Kont Androvanti" Street will be completely suspended at its intersection with "Tsar Peter" Street. The restriction will be in effect for both days, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The reason for this measure is planned construction activities. On the adjacent "Trakiyska" Street, right next to the building of the National Revenue Agency (NRA), heavy construction materials and specialized equipment will be transported and unloaded. To ensure the safety of road users and to provide the necessary work area for the machinery, the municipal authorities have decided to close the intersection.
The measure will affect both vehicular traffic and public transport passing through the area. Drivers are urged to use alternative routes to avoid congestion and reach their desired destinations. Police teams are expected to regulate traffic in the area, directing drivers to bypass roads.
This temporary access restriction is part of a series of changes in traffic organization imposed by construction and repair work in the city. Residents and guests of Burgas are urged to follow the latest information and plan their trips in advance to minimize inconvenience.
