Temporary restrictions on the "Trakia" motorway on July 9
Tonight, in the period from 20:00 today to 06:00 tomorrow (July 9), a special traffic regime is being introduced on the "Trakia" motorway in the Sofia region. The restrictions cover the section between kilometer 0 and kilometer 34.
The reason for the changes is the performance of planned treatment of roadside vegetation with chemical preparations.
How will traffic be managed?
- Activities will focus on the central median.
- Traffic in the fast lanes in both directions will be restricted in stages.
- Traffic will pass through the remaining free traffic lanes.
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) urges drivers to be extremely careful, to strictly follow road signs, and to avoid risky maneuvers.
