Official announcement from the municipal administration of Burgas informs citizens about an upcoming change in the city's transportation scheme. On July 7, 2025, starting from 9:00 AM, drivers will be prevented from passing along Asen Zlatarov Street in the section between General Gurko Street and Khan Asparuh Street.

The reason for the temporary restriction is large-scale construction and installation works related to an extensive infrastructure reconstruction project. The specific activity includes replacement of an existing water pipeline and introduction of a new urban development fund structure (UDFS) in the specified city district.

The project covers the route from reference point 166 to reference point 93, which implies significant construction interventions. Local authorities appeal to drivers to show understanding and comply with the introduced temporary traffic organization.

Vehicle drivers are advised to plan alternative routes and exercise additional caution when passing through the affected area. The construction activities are part of a large-scale urban program for upgrading engineering infrastructure in Burgas.

Citizens can obtain additional information about specific restrictions and the expected duration of construction works from the official municipal website or through administrative information phone numbers.
