The Ministry of Defense reported a successfully completed specialized diving training gathering, which united military personnel from various formations in a large-scale training near the Bulgarian coastline.

The large-scale exercise was conducted from July 21 at the Flotilla of Combat and Auxiliary Ships, including diving crews from the 55th Engineering Regiment, as well as force protection battalions from the Second and 61st Mechanized Brigades.

A key moment of the preparation was the practical exercises at an 18-meter depth, where military personnel demonstrated professional skills before a specialized diving qualification commission.

Under the guidance of Lieutenant Lyuboslav Kralev and Senior Sergeant Georgi Nachev from the 55th Engineering Regiment, participants worked on various diving techniques and descents in variable marine conditions.

Parallel to the maritime training, military divers also underwent additional preparation in March, when they conducted two-week exercises in the waters of the Danube River, expanding their professional qualifications.
