The Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced the upcoming movement of personnel and military equipment along the republican road and railway infrastructure. This movement is planned for the period from October 9th to 12th, according to information from the ministry's press center.
The MoD added that this movement is part of the preparation for the most significant command-staff exercise of the year for the Land Forces – "Balkan 25". This type of exercise is of key importance for maintaining combat readiness and the ability to respond of the Armed Forces.
At the end of September, the movement of personnel and military equipment from the Armed Forces of France was reported. This movement was related to an exercise held in Romania. Such exercises demonstrate international military cooperation and increase operational interoperability between different armies. At the same time, such activities require significant logistical preparation and coordination between military structures.
