The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) informs traffic participants about upcoming repair work on the Trakia highway on August 4 and 5. The work will be carried out in two critical sections - from the 23rd to the 43rd kilometer towards Plovdiv and from the zero to the 10th kilometer towards Sofia.
Specialized teams will work in the time range from 9:00 to 16:00, with activities related to restoring road safety barrier systems. Technical operations will be performed exclusively on the emergency lane, which minimizes the risk for travelers.
During the repair work, traffic will continue to function normally - movement will be carried out in the active and overtaking lanes. RIA experts make an extremely important appeal to drivers to show maximum caution, strictly observe the established speed limits, and avoid risky maneuvers.
