Varna's "St. Archangel Michael" church continues the tradition of donating food for Easter to those in need. This year, 500 red eggs and food products were distributed to people who receive a hot lunch at the church every Saturday.
Donors provided 260 packages, and this morning there were additional donations from people who brought food products.
Father Georgi Stoimenov is the organizer of the event, which has been held for 15 years. In addition to food for those in need, funds are also allocated for homes for children and the elderly. This year, part of the financial donations goes to the "Drugarche" home.
