Modernization of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior: A successful energy efficiency project
The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas has officially completed the implementation of a strategic project to improve the energy efficiency of its administrative building at 46 Hristo Botev St.
The project is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria and is an important step towards the sustainable management of public resources.
Key measures and investments
- Total value: 3,002,595.65 euros.
- Photovoltaic system: Capacity installed for self-generation of electricity from renewable sources.
- Insulation and joinery: Complete thermal insulation of facades and roof, along with the replacement of joinery with high-efficiency models.
Environmental and economic benefits
Primary energy consumption in the building is expected to drop by over 30%. This not only optimizes the operating costs of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior but also significantly reduces the administration's carbon footprint.
