The Labor Bureau in Svishtov announced an extremely limited opportunity for professional realization – one vacant job position for a pedagogical specialist in a kindergarten in the Polski Trumbesh municipality. The position requires a mandatory higher education, which makes it extremely selective towards candidates.

In parallel with this opportunity, statistics show a prevalence of job positions aimed at personnel with secondary and primary education, experts from the local employment bureau reported.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP) presented a large-scale national initiative "I Choose Bulgaria" – a targeted program with two key components. The first segment is oriented towards Bulgarian citizens who have spent at least 12 of the last 18 months outside the country or have completed their education abroad.

Deputy Minister Natalia Efremova emphasized the strategic essence of the program, financed through the Human Resources Development Program. The second component aims at internal labor migration, encouraging workers in Bulgaria to accept positions in settlements with a population under 50,000 people.

The innovative approach of the initiative is directed towards overcoming demographic challenges and stimulating employment in less attractive regions, by providing specific opportunities for professional realization.
