For yet another year, the students of OU "Alexander Georgiev - Kodjakafaliyata" made a donation to children in need. This time, on Annunciation - a holiday of good news and hope, the donation was received by the Center for Public Support, located at 9 Drin Street. New equipment has already been installed in the yard of the social service, which creates a more welcoming and functional environment for playing and outdoor activities.

The donation was accepted today by the manager of the Center for Public Support, Maria Atanasova, and the director of the municipal directorate "Healthcare and Social Activities" Daniel Borisov presented a thank-you certificate to the attending members of the school board and the director of OU "Al. G. Kodjakafaliyata" Tanya Srebreeva.

The funds for the donation were collected through the initiative "from children for children" and the charitable Christmas bazaar in December, which has already become a tradition, organized by the management of the educational institution and the school board. At it, the children and their parents offered handmade Christmas cards and homemade sweets.

The initiative is held annually and has already established itself as an example of empathy and an active civic position. In the previous two years, the students directed the collected funds to the Children's Department of UMBAL Burgas, donating funds for equipment in support of the youngest patients.

The new equipment in the yard of the Center for Public Support is accessible not only to its users, but also to the children and families who use the services of the Center for Social Rehabilitation for children and young people with disabilities and the Department "Child Protection", which are also housed at the address. Thus, the donation will contribute to improving the environment for dozens of children and families.

Second graders with class teacher Silvia Chelebieva and children from the Center for Public Support were the first to try out the new play equipment.

The students' gesture carries a strong message - that good starts from the smallest and that when children help children, the world becomes brighter and more humane. The initiative reinforces the importance of the partnership between educational institutions, social services and the local community in the name of a better future for children.
