Educational initiative at the Archaeological Museum of Nessebar
Throughout the month of May, students from various grades at the "Lyuben Karavelov" Secondary School in Nessebar visited the Archaeological Museum to immerse themselves in the rich history of their hometown.
The initiative "Get to know the past of your native region" aims to strengthen the bond between young people and the historical heritage of the region.
The visits were organized jointly by the Municipal Children's Complex and the "Ancient Nessebar" Museum on the occasion of May 18th – International Museum Day. Experts introduced the students to:
- The latest archaeological excavations in the area;
- The exhibition "New archaeological discoveries from the territory of Nessebar Municipality – secrets from antiquity beneath the layers of time";
- The importance of preserving cultural values.
The Archaeological Museum remains open to all students in the municipality who wish to learn about the archaeological treasures of Nessebar.
