Social Care and Services Administration - Nesebar welcomed students from the Professional High School for Tourism "Ivan Vazov", training in the profession of "Social Activity Assistant", specialty "Social Work with Children and Adults with Chronic Illnesses and Disabilities". The young people carried out a practical training at the office of the social service.
Getting to Know the Profession
During the visit, future specialists familiarized themselves with the mission, main directions, and essence of social work. They received information about the role of the social worker and the significance of the profession, which requires a high degree of professionalism, responsibility, empathy, and dedication.
Practical Aspects
Employees of SCSA presented how consultations with candidates for users of social services are conducted, as well as the process for referral to use a social service and preparing an initial needs assessment.
