During the week of February 9th to 14th, 2026, the Ethnographic Exhibition at 69 Slavyanska Street, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, offers a special experience for couples in love, who will receive a glass of red wine upon purchasing a ticket.

February 14th is a celebration of lovers and winemakers, traditionally, on February 1st (old style) or February 14th (new style) men prune the vineyards, choosing Trifon as king.

Early in the morning, with bread, a chicken and wine, the farmers went to the vineyards, pruned the vines, sprinkled them with ash and chose a king. This was followed by a feast and a tour of the village with a wreath of vine branches.

At the same time, we celebrate Saint Valentine's Day - the day of lovers. Legends point to feasts in February, associated with fertility and the priest Valentine, who healed a blind girl with a love message.
