A large-scale transport disruption affected railway traffic on an important route in the country. The infrastructure operator NKZHI took immediate action after a technical malfunction occurred in the contact network between Prostorno and Samuil stations.
The interruption covers several passenger and express trains on high-intensity routes. Specifically affected are trains No. №90100 on the Kaspichan-Ruse route, No. №90101 from Ruse Distribution to Kaspichan, as well as the express train No. 9620, running between Varna and Ruse.
The emergency teams of the National Railway Infrastructure Company are working with maximum intensity to restore the normal functioning of the electrical network. The experts' forecast is that traffic will be restored by 5 PM on the day of the incident.
An alternative transport scheme with buses has been organized for passengers, which will serve the routes of the suspended trains. The goal is to minimize inconvenience for travelers and ensure continuity of transport service.
