A critical transportation situation arose on August 7, 2025 on the Varna-Burgas route, where drivers are experiencing serious difficulties in movement. Around 11:00 AM, the section near the resort village of Ravda turned into a real transportation nightmare.

According to information from eyewitnesses and social networks, traffic is practically paralyzed towards Nessebar and Sunny Beach. Vehicles are moving at an extremely low speed - under 10 kilometers per hour, with some drivers reporting a stop of over three-quarters of an hour without actual movement.

Experts link the occurred congestion with the intensive summer tourist season and increased traffic to the Black Sea resorts. The most problematic section extends between the populated areas of Aheloy and Nessebar, where vehicles are literally blocked.

At the moment, there is no official information about a traffic accident that would be the cause of the large-scale difficulty. Probably the combination of heavy traffic and potential road repairs has led to the created critical situation.

Drivers planning to travel in this area are advised to exercise extreme caution and possibly seek alternative routes to avoid hours of delay.
