Ukraine and Russia are negotiating a peace agreement with US mediation, discussing a meeting between Trump and Zelensky by the end of November. The negotiations include talks in Abu Dhabi, against the backdrop of recent strikes between the two countries.

American officials are reporting progress in negotiations for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia, drafted with the mediation of the Donald Trump administration. Ukraine is insisting on a summit between Trump and Zelensky in the United States by the end of November.

The White House has not officially confirmed the meeting, but has confirmed talks with Russian officials in Abu Dhabi.

Against this backdrop, strikes continue between the two sides, with Kyiv reporting casualties and Moscow – deaths in the Rostov region.

Ukrainian National Security Advisor Rustem Umerov announced a common understanding with the American side on the main provisions of the peace agreement discussed in Geneva.

US Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll is holding talks with Russian and Ukrainian officials in Abu Dhabi, with the negotiations being assessed as encouraging.
