Tragic incident near Nesebar
A woman's body was discovered in the sea near the "Olympic Hopes" beach in Nesebar. The report of the incident was received yesterday around 8:30 PM at the local police station in the city.
According to the police in Burgas, the woman was seen drowning in the water.
Despite the efforts, the body was pulled to the shore showing no signs of life. At the moment, the identity of the deceased remains unknown. An initial examination revealed no visible signs of violence. Personal belongings, believed to belong to the woman, were found on the sand:
- Beach bag
- Summer clothes
- Flip-flops
The body has been transported for an autopsy to the Department of Forensic Medicine at UMBAL – Burgas. An investigation has been launched into the case to determine the exact causes of death.
