Tragic incident near Ahtopol
A serious incident has marred the summer season near Ahtopol. A 62-year-old man from the town of Kostinbrod has lost his life after drowning in the sea.
According to preliminary data, the man entered the water to swim in an area that is not guarded by lifeguards.
The body of the deceased was later recovered in the southern part of the "Delfin" campsite. Authorities are currently working on the case:
- An official investigation into the incident has been initiated.
- All circumstances surrounding the tragic death are yet to be clarified.
- Ministry of Interior officials are conducting an inspection at the scene.
We urge all vacationers to be extremely careful, to observe the flag signaling, and to choose only guarded beaches for swimming.
