Balance sheet of the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection"
The past 24 hours were marked by a high workload for the fire department teams. A total of 88 fires were extinguished within 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior reported. Unfortunately, the balance sheet includes one deceased and one injured person.
The data covers the period from 00:00 to 24:00 on May 30, with a total number of reports of incidents being 150.
Incident Statistics
- Fires with material damage: 17 (incl. 5 in residential buildings, 5 in vehicles, and 1 in an industrial building).
- Fires without material damage: 71 (mainly ignited dry grass, waste, and forest litter).
- False alarms: 8 reports.
In addition to extinguishing fires, firefighters also conducted 54 rescue activities and auxiliary operations to assist the population.
