A tragic incident unfolded this morning near the Parliament building in Sofia, resulting in the fatal death of a law enforcement officer.
A statement from the Ministry of Interior, confirmed to the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency (BTA), reported the death of a police officer who was on duty in the area.

A medical team was immediately called to provide emergency assistance. After an initial examination, the police officer was transported to "Pirogov" University Emergency Hospital.
