Incident with a bridge structure near Kiten
Serious material damage has been caused to a bridge structure, part of the road interchange for Kiten, following an incident involving a heavy goods vehicle. The report was filed on Tuesday at approximately 11:40 a.m.
The metal dump body of the truck remained raised, which led to a direct collision with the structure while passing underneath it.
The 31-year-old man driving the truck was tested for alcohol and drugs, with the results returning negative. Pre-trial proceedings have already been initiated in the case.
Accident between a truck and an electric vehicle
Later that same day, around 3:10 p.m., a second traffic incident occurred on the road between Sozopol and Ravadinovo. A 27-year-old truck driver attempted a maneuver to avoid an obstacle on the road.
- During the maneuver, an individual electric vehicle (IEV) was struck.
- The driver of the IEV is a 35-year-old man from Ivaylovgrad.
- The victim was transported to UMBAL-Burgas for treatment.
The police in Burgas remind drivers to be extremely cautious and to strictly observe traffic rules.
