Another shocking traffic accident shook the coastal city of Burgas on the morning of August 20, in which innocent road participants were injured. Official police sources revealed details about the incident that occurred in the heart of the city.
According to the investigation by local law enforcement, a 27-year-old local driver committed a gross violation of traffic rules. At the critical intersection, the man did not observe the "STOP" sign, which led to fatal consequences.
Due to the young driver's careless driving, a woman's car was side-swiped while she was moving completely legally at that moment. The result of the irresponsible driving was two innocent people being injured.
Among the injured are a 42-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl, who suffered serious injuries. Medical experts diagnosed contusions in the neck and chest area for both victims.
Immediately after the incident, the injured were transported to the University Multi-Profile Hospital for Active Treatment (UMBAL) in Burgas, where they underwent initial medical examination and received the necessary emergency assistance.
The police investigation continues, with expectations to clarify all circumstances surrounding the accident and take appropriate legal actions against the perpetrator.
