Another warning about driver irresponsibility was registered in the afternoon hours of July 15 in one of the most populated neighborhoods of the seaside city. The incident, which caused serious tension among local residents, took place on Yanko Komitov Street, immediately next to block 30 in the Slaveykov complex.

Official police sources revealed details about the dramatic event that occurred exactly at 5:37 PM. The driver of a BMW 320 D with Sofia registration - a 47-year-old man from the capital, performed a dangerous maneuver by cutting off a pedestrian's right of way.

The victim is a 16-year-old youth with Ukrainian citizenship, who currently lives in Burgas. According to initial information, the boy was crossing the road at a regulated pedestrian crossing when he was hit by the car.

Immediately after the incident, an Emergency Medical Services team quickly arrived at the scene and conducted an initial examination of the victim. Despite sustaining minor injuries, the minor categorically refused to be admitted to a hospital.

The case raises further questions about traffic safety in urban environments and drivers' compliance with basic rules. Police officers are already working on documenting the full circumstances of the incident.
